"Get Psyched" Video Contest (win $2000 to attend a conference or an iPad)
This Fall, The Cengage Learning Psychology Team is hosting a video program to promote graduate student research and teaching. We are asking graduate students (and interested undergrads) to submit a video demonstrating a Psychological concept in the context of everyday life. The videos are then posted to YouTube and the winner will be chosen by a panel of Psychology Instructors from across the country. The 1st place winner will receive an all expenses paid trip to a psychology conference of their choice (up to $2000). The 2nd place winner will receive a 16GB iPad. We have already received 5 submissions, posted to our YouTube page:
We are very excited about the program and think it's a great way to promote all that graduate students do! We also think that the entries will make great examples that can be used both in and out of the classroom going forward.

Contest begins September 23, 2011 and ends October 30, 2011.
